In creating Mysterious Journey, my fourth album of instrumental music, I found myself in a darker place, a bit unmoored on a quest for treasure that felt elusive. The results became the quest not the destination, and the music moves and morphs in an ever-changing fashion. There are elements of World music throughout: from Western rock and jazz and classical orchestral arrangements to Eastern flutes and percussion. There are found voices, ambient effects, and, I hope, the mystery of creation.
